What is SiteLine?

SiteLine is a low-cost, low-bandwidth solution suitable for temporary or location-constrained network connectivity. This service provides network connectivity to outlying or temporary buildings within the coverage area, without the requirement of outside wired infrastructure.

Why should I choose SiteLine?

In most cases, it is preferable from a both a performance and cost perspective for customers to invest in a wired connection, but in some cases where the location is either temporary or doesn't allow for wired connectivity, SiteLine can be a cost-effective alternative for network connectivity.

How does SiteLine work?

A SiteLine connection requires line of sight to one of the corners of Bradfield Tower. The connection bandwidth is 1-11 Mbps, depending on the shared load on the head end of the system. Keep in mind that this is a “best effort” delivery system, with no throughput guarantees. The aggregate bandwidth of the system is equally split among each of the RF connections, so the connection bandwidth will degrade as the number of users increases.
